NovusHR Deployment Overview
Painless Transition to NovusHR
Once an order has been received, a NovuSolutions Project Manager
will be assigned to your project. Your project manager works with
your team to define and develop the configuration requirements for
your software deployment.
Consultation/Customization
Each client has their own format for hiring applications,
workflows and approvals, so your NovuSolutions Project Manager will
meet with you to learn your process, in order to determine the best
way to incorporate your existing layout into the automated one.
One of the many benefits of NovusHR is that a unique layout can
be created for each client. This includes the job requisition page,
the job application page, hiring and interviewing forms and custom
workflows. Complete customization is available to make integration
easier on everyone in the organization and improves user
adoption.
Our experience has shown
that many users are resistant to change. When moving from a
paper-based system to an electronic one, many users will naturally
push back. The secret to success in a rollout is to minimize change
for users. This is accomplished through customized layouts for key
user interfaces. Users will see the same layouts they have been
seeing for years, so integration will be painless and widely
accepted.
The customization of these areas can be completed by the
NovuSolutions services team as part of your deployment process. The
process is not complex for the customer. You simply answer some
workflow questions and show us some forms and we will handle the
details for you.
Once your needs are understood, NovuSolutions will add your
custom documents to the software for review. Your NovuSolutions
Project Manager will work with you to meet your unique needs and
work tirelessly until you needs are fully met.
Deployment
If you are hosting NovusHR yourself complete software is
shipped to your team for installation on your test servers. This
initial version of our software will be fully functional but will
not have your client configurations in place.
The purpose of this shipment is to
enable your team the opportunity to test install routines for the
software, as well as experiment with user management, workflow and
other core features. This software will be setup in a test
environment not meant for final deployment.
Once customizations are
complete, typically 90 days after order, the final configurations
are shipped to you for installation and testing.
When your testing is complete the software can be deployed for
training and enterprise use.
Technical Support
A first-level Technical Support Specialist will be assigned to
your account when your code is ready to ship. This person is
responsible for helping you install your software as well as
provide first-line technical support after installation.
If you present a challenge they cannot handle, they will
escalate the issue to second-tier support. Our second-tier support
team consists of Senior Software Architects with many years of
experience, both in software design/development and network
management. They can help troubleshoot any issues that arise in the
deployment of your software solution.
