NovusAGENDA Overview
There are four primary roles in NovusAGENDA:
-
Item Creators
-
Item Approvers
-
Agenda Preparer
-
System Administrator
Agenda Item Creators
Agenda Item Creators may be certain staff in each department who have been authorized to create items on behalf of that department.
Creating an Agenda item is a very simple process:
- Add an item title
- Fill out a form that matches your layout
- Submit to workflow
1,2..3 it is as easy as that....
Customization services include making this form layout meet your exact specifications. This familiar layout speeds user adoption rates significantly and reduces internal confusion.
Item Approvers
Item approvers are those who must review or approve items as part of your oversight process. Items are routed to various approvers using a workflow.
NovusAGENDA allows administrators to set up predetermined workflows. The workflows can be set to trigger the moment the item is ready.
Users can set their own workflow for certain items falling into the exception category.
Workflows can vary by item type. For example a finance department item may take a completely different workflow than a planning item. Of course all the custom workflow options can be set to funnel items to key administrators once departmental approvals are met.
A flexible workflow option is a key unique benefit of NovusAGENDA.
Agenda Preparer
The agenda preparer has full authority over all items in the system. Agenda preparers typically have final ownership over the board agendas.
The agenda preparer controls:
- Meeting schedules
- Agendas
- Publication of agendas to the website
- Publication of minutes to the website
- Previewing agendas prior to publication
